چکیده

Aquaculture offers great potential for fish production in Lake Chapala, but reports of heavy metal contamination have identified a main concern this activity. In the present study, cultures species Cyprinus carpio and Ictalurus punctatus were grown net cage Chapala. The patterns accumulation (Cu, Zn, Cd, Hg, Pb, As) muscle liver monitored order to evaluate level incorporation fish. Estimates weekly intake (EWI) made based on results concentrations edible parts commercial size. bioaccumulation between tissues showed that had higher concentrating capacity Cu, Pb. contrast, similar Hg As found tissue. According EWI estimates, metals these cultured do not represent risk human consumption.
